Use this moving meditation to glow from the inside out.

As a certified Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga Instructor, incorporating yoga and meditation into my routines comes quite naturally. Getting on my mat brings me so much joy and pleasure that when I don’t do it, I truly feel a difference. This sequence incorporates a heart- opener, a lower back release, and a hip-opener to prepare you for a seated meditation. All you need is 5 minutes 🦋
Come onto your hands and knees, your palms under your shoulders and your knees under your hips. Ground down through the tops of your feet, tighten your core, and follow your gaze slightly past your palms. Inhale and exhale.
On your next inhale, drop your belly, arch your back, roll your shoulders back, and look towards the sky. As you exhale, round your upper back, press through your palms, and tuck your pelvis towards your chin.
Repeat 3x. Or as many times as you’d like.
Now spread your knees as wide as your mat and repeat the same steps above.
To add more juiciness, begin to circle your spine to work out any kinks. Move intuitively.
When you’re ready, extend your arms forward, bring your forehead to the ground, and rest for 2 breath cycles.
Come into a comfortable seated position and allow the activation to settle in. Place your palms on your belly and check in with your body. How do you feel now?
With your hands still on your belly, inhale for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds. Repeat 3x.
Then repeat this mantra:
I am before me
I am behind me
I am at my left
I am at my right
I am above me
I am below me
I am unto thee
I am, I am, I know I am
I am, I am, I know I am
I am, I am, I know I am
Allow the mantra to settle in before leaving your mat.
The mantra is my favorite part of this moving meditation. It balances my root chakra and helps me to feel grounded, centered, and safe. When your root chakra is balanced, the energy can flow to your sacral chakra (the seat of your womb), allowing you to radiate sexual energy and attract your desires like a Goddess on Earth.
