Tesserae Rooftop Transforms Buckhead’s Dining & Cocktail Scene
Atlanta’s hottest private social hub is going public this spring.

Tesserae, the award-winning rooftop bar, and lounge on the top of the Thompson Buckhead, announced it will be opening its doors to the public on May 3rd, 2023. Since debuting in early 2022, the former private (yes, we said private) social club has earned a reputation as one of the city’s most sought-after locations for sipping handcrafted cocktails and rubbing elbows with movers and shakers. This chic and sophisticated restaurant bar may have the best views with its 10-story-high views of the Atlanta skyline.
In response to rave reviews and steadily growing demand, the Thompson Buckhead team has decided to relaunch Tesserae as a lounge, bar, and restaurant concept. This time, they will open to all hotel guests, locals, and Atlanta visitors alike. The Tesserae celebrates the diversity of Atlanta by creating an inclusive space for creatives, innovators, and thought-leaders to network, socialize and blur the lines between work and play.

Guests can visit Tesserae with reservations on Tuesday to Thursday from 5:30 PM to midnight or Friday and Saturday from 5:30 PM. to 1:00 AM. Its stellar dining options range from yellowfin tuna tostadas to lobster rolls to sliders. Moreover, their innovative craft cocktails such as Rose Negronis, and Espresso Martinis are always a hit. My personal favorite is the Salmon Chips which hard to share. You can also book space for private events or dinners.
